This past weekend, teams from the east coast entered into the IMG Indoor Nationals Championship at Feasterville Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA. The competition was incredible, games were back and forth with teams battling until the very last second. Age groups ranged from Novice, PeeWee, Bantam, Midget and Intermediate.

Novices kicked off the tournament on Friday night, with Radnor knocking off Bucks Select in the first game, followed by Braveheart squeaking one out over Bucks Select and Radnor taking home the championship over Braveheart.

Saturday came quickly with the Midgets and Intermediate teams set to do battle. Thunder Tribe and IMG met for the championship game, with the Thunder Tribe taking home the hardware. Later that night, IMG came into the complex and revenged their Midget teams championship loss by winning the best of three series against Team AILA.

On Sunday, the final day of the tournament, it came down to a three team, five man shootout to see who would play Rising Sons in the championship. Rochester Ice met BBL in the first shootout and winner of that went on to challenge the Jr Wings. Rochester Ice went on to down both BBL and the Jr Wings and after the miraculous shoot out wins by the Ice, they fell to a strong Rising Sons squad.

After the excitement from the Bantam division, the Peewee's stepped on to the floor to close out the IMG Indoor Nationals Championship. The Chiefs put up a valiant effort against the Ice, but came up short handed as the boys from Rochester went on to win.
