After an icy start and a two hour delay to the Sunday portion of the AILA Heritage Cup, teams braved the storm and made a valiant effort to get to BucksMont Indoor Sports Center.

Building Blocks took on the Jr Wings in their first game of the day, falling 7-4. Afterwards, they never looked back, taking down Perkiomen Valley and Crusaders LC in dramatic fashion.

"It was a treacherous ride to get here and we are happy it paid off for our team in the end," commented Andrew Hubschman, founder and coach of BBL.

With the Jr Wings in first and BBL sitting in second, the two met again, this time,in the championship game. Energy and determination were on BBL's side as they doused the hot Wings in a 7-1 victory.

Dillon O'Loughlin, son of BBL COO & Coach Jerry O'Loughlin, said, "It was great to play against my former teammates [Jr Wings] for the championship game. Both teams fought hard and I'm happy we came out on top."

Mouradian stated, "BBL has worked hard over the past year, training every week to compete in indoor tournaments and to become better lacrosse players."
