2015 AILA High School Fall Training Program

Philadelphia, PA – August 3, 2015 -- With the summer lacrosse season coming to an end and fall ball on everyone's mind, the American Indoor Lacrosse Association today announced its High School In|Crosse Training Program for the Fall of 2015.

The ALIA’s In|Crosse Fall Program will get off to a fast start in mid September with training going on at three different locations of 422 Sportsplex, Bryn Athyn College and Marple Sports Arena. 

The AILA’s In|Crosse system, developed by AILA President and Bryn Athyn College Head Coach, Johnny Mouradian, leverages the integration and convergence of the indoor game of lacrosse with the outdoor field game. The In|Crosse integrated programs contribute to the building blocks of lacrosse literacy by developing well-rounded field players who can take advantage of the many features of indoor lacrosse and transfer that knowledge and skill sets to their field game.

“We are excited to announce our 2015 Integrated Fall program that will provide an incredible training experience for the players and coaches involved.  Learning our In|Crosse system with the indoor bio mechanics, principles, strategies and tactics and transferring those skills to the field daily will provide a unique experience for the players to build their lacrosse literacy,” said Mouradian.

Program Informaton: Teams will receive six weeks of lacrosse, including three 1.5 hours of training and practices the first three weeks of the program. In weeks four and five, teams will compete in one hour games at their respected facility. During week six, all teams will compete in a round robin play day at Bryn Athyn College.

         Cost: $1,300.00/Team or $80.00/Player

Academy Directors:

Johnny Mouradian -  Current Director of Team Canada and Head Coach of Bryn Athyn College. Johnny has won nine Professional World Indoor Championships in various roles with Buffalo, Toronto & Washington. He is a member of seven lacrosse hall of fames including Ontario Lacrosse, Canadian Lacrosse in the Field Player category & as a player on the 1978 national team that won the World Championships in England, Ithaca College Sports, Lakeport High School, National Lacrosse League, & St. Catharine’s, Ontario Sports. As GM of the Canadian National Indoor Lacrosse Team, he won three World Indoor Championships and was GM of the 2010 Canadian National Field Team. Currently, he is the Director of the Canadian National Indoor Lacrosse Program preparing for the World Indoor Championships in 2015.

In 2010 Mouradian created the American Indoor Lacrosse Association that provides programs and services that educate, share and develop indoor lacrosse in the United States and globally.

 

Brendan Staudt - Brendan has been with AILA for a year and a half, learning from Mouradian and taking the lead during clinics, team trainings, and camps. Staudt is currently an assistant coach at Downingtown East High School and entering his fifth year with the Cougars. He is also the head coach of the Jr Wings PeeWee team and Baggataway LC's 2020 team. Brendan played at Downingtown East from 2003-2007, where he was part of the State Championship squad. After high school, Staudt took his talents to Millersville University, where he led the Marauders to 2 Eastern PA Conference Championships, 2 Beltway bash Tournament Championships and a Final Four appearance as a freshman. He started in cage for the Marauders all four years.
